The number of students eligible for Supplemental Educational Services through the NCLB Act of 2001 during the 2008-2009 school year in the Tuscaloosa City School District was 2,481. The number of students participating in Supplemental Educational Services was 613.

The number of students eligible for School Choice through the NCLB Act of 2001 during 2008-2009 in the Tuscaloosa City School District was 2,824. The number of students participating in School Choice was 127.
