Video and Media Specialist
Qualifications:
- B.A. or B.S. Degree
- Five (5) years of experience in video production preferred

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Must have developed skills in video productions.
- Must communicate with administrators, staff and substitutes
in a positive and effective manner.
- Must have abilities to meet deadlines and work flexible hours.
- Must have physical mobility and visual acuity to accomplish
the essential functions of the position.
Essential functions:
- Coordinates all aspects of the "Inside Tuscaloosa City
Schools" show including, but not limited to, writing, producing,
hosting, videotaping and scheduling guest.
- Assist the Director of Personnel and Coordinator of Public Relations
with videotaping and editing of the Recruitment CD-ROM.
- Assist the Coordinator of Public Relations with website development.
- Videotapes all Tuscaloosa City Board of Education meetings.
- Videotapes all special events and meetings.
- Produces and videos Tuscaloosa City Schools promotions.
- Produces videotapes for schools, administrators, and Board members.
- Writes and produces "on hold" phone messages including
timely updates.
- Coordinates all aspects of the "Central Falcon Football
Show" including, but not limited to, writing, producing,
hosting, editing and scheduling guest.
- Assists the Coordinator of Public Relations with the Board's
Public Relations Committee.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Coordinator of Public
Relations.
Terms of employment:
Terms of employment shall be in accordance with provisions of the
Board's Salary Schedule.
Evaluation:
Performance evaluation shall be in accordance with provisions of
the Boards policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel - GCRK
and GCRK - R.
