POLICY FOR STUDENTS WITH ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (ESL)

It is the policy of the Tuscaloosa City Board of Education that no student shall be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination in any program or activity having been identified as a national origin minority student with limited English proficiency (ESL/LEP Students).

Procedures will be developed and implemented to insure that the board policy is enforced.
