GROUPING FOR INSTRUCTION
Students are infinitely diverse in their backgrounds, capacities
and beliefs. Teachers should recognize these differences and plan
accordingly.
When feasible, students should be grouped within a school and
within a classroom so that each individual may benefit to his/her
maximum level of achievement. With the teacher(s) and principal
working together, effective grouping should be planned to be as
flexible as possible with provision for altering the grouping to
fit the specific purpose involved.
