Important Back to School Information:

• Seniors:  You should have received notification from Life Touch with an appointment time and date for your Senior portrait.  If you haven't, you should call 334-361-2360 to schedule your appointment.  Portraits will be take downtown at the Life Touch Studio, NOT AT NORTHRIDGE.  
• Shelton State is interested in offering a Speech class on the Northridge campus this Fall if we have enough students interested in taking it.  The class would be available for students in grades 10-12 who have ACT scores of 20 in Reading, and 18 in English, and have at least a 2.5 GPA.  This is a tuition based class.  Please contact Ms. Vickery in the guidance office if you are interested.  
• Senior Parents should plan on attending a Senior Parent meeting on July 31st at 6PM in the NHS Cafeteria.  We are expecting the auditorium to still be in the process of renovation on that date.  
• Please help us communicate with our incoming Freshman by sharing this information with anyone you know that has a rising 9th grader!

Schedule Pick-Up Dates and Times:

• July 25th:  Seniors-  Schedule PU 10AM-1PM, purchase parking permits
• July 26th:  Juniors-  Schedule PU 10AM-1PM, purchase parking permits
• July 27th:  Sophomores-  Schedule PU10AM-1PM, purchase parking permits
• July 30th:  Freshmen-  Schedule PU 10AM-1PM, Freshmen Orientation at 5:30PM in the NHS Auditorium

(all student debts should be cleared before students will be allowed to purchase a parking permit)

Students who intend to purchase a parking permit must have a completed application in hand, which must include a parent signature.  You can go to the NHS website, look under Announcements,  and print the application. You can also come by the main office to obtain an application. The TCS Drug Test Policy form must also be signed in order for students to purchase a parking permit.  

Student Aide Application:

Please remember, you may only be an aide for one block per semester. Aides will be selected based on academic performance, attendance records, and past discipline records. *DISCLAIMER: NO ONE IS GUARANTEED AN AIDE POSITION* Applications are due MONDAY, JULY 23, 2018. Late applications will not be accepted. Please note: No students who serve as an aide will receive a credit. SENIORS WILL BE PLACED FIRST! Unexcused absences/tardies during aide blocks will carry the same attendance consequences as any other class.
