    • JAPAN 2020: ATTENTION 10th and 11th Grade Students: How would you like to travel to JAPAN next summer as a representative of Paul W. Bryant High School?! You can! Apply in the school counselor’s office for this 2 week educational / cultural exchange coordinated by Tuscaloosa Sister Cities International and the Tuscaloosa City School System. It is fully escorted, includes side trips to Tokyo, Mt. Fuji, and much more!! Find out if you’re qualified! Interest applications are available now until October 4th. Visit the school counselor’s office today – and you could be spending two weeks in beautiful JAPAN next summer!!!! 
    • It is September and the PWBHS College and Career Awareness Initiative continues. This month ‘s character trait is work ethic and the industry spot- light is Hospitality and Customer Service. UA and UAH admission Reps will visit our campus sign up to attend by the cafeteria or guidance suite. 
    • Students if you are interested in joining the Social Awareness Club, please see Mrs. Franklin in RM # 108. You will have opportunity to earn service  hours through this club. 
    • A National Honor Society meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, September 26, during zero period. All National Honor Society Members make plans to attend. An announcement will be made to release student at the appropriate time. A current roster will be emailed to all teachers on the day before the meeting. 
    • Seniors, do not forget to turn in your permission slip and $2 before September 17th for the Tuscaloosa County College Fair. See Mrs. Markham to turn in your form and payment.  
    • Peer Leaders are looking for students in grades 9th – 11th that are interested in being a part of Peer Leaders. We are looking for students who exhibit positive behavior, healthy lifestyle of being drug and alcohol free and also who are an advocate against bullying and shifting the student culture of the school in a positive direction. The deadline for application is September 20, 2019. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Lauderdale or Brianna Byrd, the president of Peer Leaders.
