Ms. Kendra Williams was born and raised in Tuscaloosa by the late Barbara and James Williams. She graduated from Central High School in 1992.

After high school, she attended Beville State Community College, receiving her licensed practical nurse degree. Ms. Williams attended Shelton State Community College where she received an emergency medical technician degree.

She is currently employed at the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center where she serves as a patient care assistant.

Ms. Williams has three children; a son, Kleonta and two daughters, Kiara and Khamoria. The Williams family attend Friendship Baptist Church.
