Beyond the Numbers
Sharing the Stories of Student Success
At Paul W. Bryant High School (PWBHS), we are college bound and career ready. Preparing students for post-secondary career opportunities is key to high school success. We are here to help students reach their highest potential. To ensure that high school students are taking advantage of career opportunities, we offer: 13 Advanced Placement courses, West Alabama’s only Fine Arts Academy Tuscaloosa Fine Arts Academy, Dual Enrollment with The University of Alabama and Shelton State, MJROTC: Naval Honor Academy, and award-winning band, drama, art, and choral programs, and National Honor societies covering five disciplines. Along with these academic and athletic opportunities, EVERY student at Paul W. Bryant High School is encouraged toward their successful future through our College & Career Commitment Program. Through this program of individualized attention, instruction, and encouragement, we saw 100% of the 2016 graduating class not only graduate, but also have a confirmed official next step to either a university, a college, the military, an internship or a job! We are continuing this tradition.
