Student Information for Families
During the 2021-2022 school year, families will have access to see learning, grade, and attendance information about their children.
On September 17, 2021 schools will distribute letters that provide parents with their PowerSchool-SIS Parent Sign In information. Each letter is for a different student and includes a unique ID and Password and login directions.
On September 10 most students will receive a progress report. It will be accompanied by a letter with additional information. Here are links to the letter, which vary by grade level.
The report provides grade averages and attendance information
On September 17 schools will distribute letters with information on how families can log into the new system.
Grade Averages and Attendance
TCS is no longer using iNOW. The new system is called PowerSchool Student Information System (PS-SIS). This is the place where you can see information on attendance, schedules, and grade averages.
Learning in Schoology
TCS will continue to use Schoology Learning Management System for “online classrooms.” This is the place where you can see information on assignments and learning resources. The grades you see in Schoology are grades on individual assignments or assessments, not a course average. You will be able to see course grade averages in PowerSchool-SIS.
Access Information: If you created an account last year, it should still work. Schools will send login information home with each student by August 20. It will include a unique parent access code for each student.
Learning in SeeSaw (PK-5 only)
Many TCS elementary schools use SeeSaw as part of their “online classroom.” This tool provides ways for students to participate in practice activities and show what they know.
Access Information: Teachers using SeeSaw will send login information home with each student by August 20. It will include unique parent login information.
