  • TCS 2019-2020 Pre-K Registration

    Registration is open from January 15, 2020-March 5, 2020 at 12 p.m. A lottery will take place on March 9, 2020 at 8:30 a.m. at the Central Office.

    Please apply at: https://alprek.asapconnected.com/Login   When completing the online registration, please only select the school for which you are zoned.

    Children must be 4 years old on or before September 2 and live within the Tuscaloosa City School zone to be eligible.

  • TCS Kindergarten Early Registration
    Parents should report to their home school on the designated dates to register and after those dates, they should call the school for convenient visiting times.
    Tuscaloosa City Schools Kindergarten Early Registration will be held on March 12-13th. Please bring the following:

    -Proof of residence (2 utility bills and lease agreement)
    -Proof of Birth
    -Proof of Immunization
    -State ID
    -Social Security Card (optional)

    *Please bring your child with you for kindergarten readiness testing.
    Students must be 5 years old on or before September 2, 2020.

  • Inside Tuscaloosa City Schools

    On this show see how the TCS Reading By 3rd Grade initiative is elevating students'0 literacy. The Junior Achievement's JA in a Day Program is teaching students skills that will be a benefit for them for their entire lives. TCS art students have their works displayed in public at the Superintendent's Art Show. Westlawn and Northridge Middle School's receive state safety awards from Attorney General Steve Marshall. TCS student-athletes sign to continue their educations and playing careers in college.
