Paying for the Plan

  • To ensure that we are being good stewards of our taxpayers’ dollars, this large-scale plan calls for tough decisions. Our priority was to balance decisions for students and decisions for employees. Here’s how we made our choices:

    • The pace of implementation of the Strategic Plan is entirely dependent on the amount of available NEW MONEY each fiscal year
    • Balance needs to be maintained between expansion of educational programs and services and employee compensation increases
    • As positive clarification in FY 2016 revenue & expenses occurs, employee compensation percentage will likely increase
