Meet the Ambassadors

Grey Price

Grey Price has been working in the Tuscaloosa City Schools since 2019, where he teaches English Language Arts and helps sponsor the student ambassador program at Northridge Middle School. Originally from Milton, Florida, Grey moved to Tuscaloosa for college at The University of Alabama, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, and a Master of Arts in Linguistics. After teaching writing for international students through The University of Alabama's First Year Writing Program, as well as speaking and listening courses through The University of Alabama's English Language Institute, he decided to enter public education. He is passionate about reading, writing and literacy education for all students, and has presented about writing instruction at the 2019 American Association of Applied Linguistics conference. Outside of school, Grey loves traveling, spending time with friends, going on walks, going to the movies, collecting vinyl records, or reading a great book at a coffee shop.

I love working ion the TCS because: I love working in a system that supports my growth as a professional and gives me a chance to better myself while supporting my students through innovative, challenging, and exciting learning opportunities. The environment is one that allows greatness and excellence to thrive.
