Meet the Ambassadors
Natalie Roig-McKnight has been teaching for the Tuscaloosa City Schools system since 2012 with all her years being at Paul W. Bryant High School. Mrs. Roig-McKnight graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a BFA in Graphic Design and went on to the University of Montevallo and graduated with a Masters in Art Education and has attended University of West Alabama and earned her Master’s in Educational Leadership. Mrs. Roig-McKnight has represented her school as Teacher of the Year for 2016 and 2018. In 2016, Mrs. Roig-McKnight went on to be named the District 4 and top 16 finalists for Teacher of the Year for the state of Alabama.
Mrs. Roig-McKnight has been involved in various school activities that serve not only her students but her school as well. She has coached Volleyball and Soccer; but enjoys watching her students in any sport. Mrs. Roig-McKnight has also been involved in the state writing of the Fine Arts Course of Study Standards and served on the Executive Board as the Secondary chair for the Alabama Art Educators Association.
She currently serves as the chair of the fine arts department at Paul W. Bryant High School and is currently pursuing her Ed.S in Instructional Leadership at the University of Alabama. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, being a mom to Lucy, traveling, the beach, photography, and everything Paul W. Bryant High School and TCS.
