The Tuscaloosa City Schools have created specialty programs for each and every student to achieve personal, academic and career success.

The admissions window for the 2026-2027 school year is now CLOSED.

Families have the opportunity to apply to one of the following schools:

Tuscaloosa Magnet Schools-Elementary: grades 1-5

The application for the 2026-2027 school year is currently open will close on Friday, January 30, 2026 at 3 p.m.

Tuscaloosa Magnet Schools and IB Continuation: During the spring of each year, all current TCS Magnet school students will be asked to complete an intent form if they desire to continue the IB Programme (each grade level and from Tuscaloosa Magnet Schools-Middle to Central High School.)
