Beyond the Numbers
If we were to pick one word to describe Northridge High School, that word would be “Excellence.” The Northridge family, including students, parents, faculty/staff, and community, all have in common the expectation that we hold one another to a high standard in every endeavor involving our school.
We are characterized by diversity, school spirit, student engagement and community support. We are truly a place where all students can find a way to get involved and experience success.
Our students are surrounded by a network of competent and caring adults who are focused on creating innovative and independent life-long learners who will be equipped to meet the needs of our community both as productive citizens and highly-skilled employees.
Academic ExcellenceYear after year, NHS students are recognized as National Merit Scholars and Finalists; in 2019 NHS had 4 National Merit Semi-finalists and 3 National Merit Finalists; 27%+ of students score 30+ on the ACT; 184 Dual Enrollment students this school year; 34 current All-Academic Students; 15 Advanced Placement classes offered with nearly 200 qualifying scores on AP exams.
