Meet the Principal of Northridge Middle School
A familiar face returns to Northridge Middle School. Carter Hill was named principal of the nearly 800-student school at a board meeting Thursday night. Hill, a veteran educator, has served in multiple roles in the Tuscaloosa City Schools, including English instructor, soccer coach, assistant principal at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
Superintendent Mike Daria said Hill has demonstrated his commitment to TCS and emerged as a leader in the school system.
"He brings experience, commitment, and passion to the job," said Daria. "We're excited to see his leadership at Northridge Middle."
Hill said his leadership at the school will reflect the four words listed atop the school's front doors: excellence, exceptional, entrepreneurial, and extraordinary.
"We want to be the most exceptional middle school, not just in Tuscaloosa, or not just in Alabama, but in the United States and that will push our district to go even further also," said Hill.
