Meet the Principal of Northridge Middle School
Growing up in Tuscaloosa, I had no idea that education would be my career of choice. It was to be my calling. So beginning late in life, I chose to adventure in that direction. I attended Auburn University Montgomery where I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education, Biology and Sociology. I began teaching in the Tuscaloosa County School System at Collins Riverside where I established the computer curriculum. During that time I began working on a Master of Arts Degree in Special Education, Gifted and Talented. It was completed in 1998. In 1997, I moved to Tuscaloosa County High School where I taught Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, Forensic Science, and computer for 13 years. During 2010, I decided to make a career move. I transferred to Sipsey Valley High School where I continued teaching science while returning to further my education. In August 2011, I completed my second Master of Arts Degree in Educational Leadership and became the Assistant Principal of Rock Quarry Middle School. During the fall of 2013, I was named the Principal of University Place Elementary and returned to Rock Quarry Middle School as principal in June 2015. In August 2018, I became principal of the new Northridge Middle School.
I am happily married to Barry Ingram and have two awesome children. Zach is a student at The University of Alabama. Lindsey graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Civil Engineering and minors in Structural Engineering and Architectural Engineering. Lindsey is married to Eddie Bishop, a Chemical Engineer and they are wonderful parents to our first grandchild.
