Meet the Principal of Central Elementary School

  • This is the school where Champions are made.  I am extremely excited to continue the work that we started during the previous school year.  Last year the #CES360 movement was born. We will continue to focus on Academics, Attendance, Partnerships, Discipline, and Parental Involvement.  I am confident that Central Elementary is moving in the right direction. I am especially proud of the Outdoor Library, Laura Bush Grant, and the Action for Healthy Kids Grant. Each one of these grants will continue to enhance our learning environment.

Along with the staff, I will continue to work hard to continue the legacy of success established at Central Elementary by building strong relationships with parents, students, staff, and community partners.  We will focus on the Champion Summit, 21st Century skills, Mentoring, and fostering a nurturing safe environment for children. We will also focus on the use of data to guide instruction, consistent implementation of newly adopted project based strategies to increase students’ achievement, and provide exciting and challenging enrichment opportunities for all students.

I anticipate a most successful year as my team and I support the academic, social, and emotional growth of your child here at Central Elementary School.

During the course of the year, it is my hope that we will work together to provide the students of CentralElementary the best possible opportunities in preparing them to be College and Career Ready to master the challenges of the 21st Century with a solid foundation created here at our school.  As Principal, my door is always open and I welcome your input. Please feel free to stop in or call to make an appointment to discuss any concerns, suggestions, or ideas to help make this the best year ever!
