We believe in cultivating a positive learning environment that focuses on the whole student. We strive to meet the needs of each and every individual learner. We implement student-led centers, facilitate peer discussions, project based learning and integrate technology across all content areas. We deliver instruction with a passion to capture kids’ hearts. The faculty and staff is devoted to all students.

  • Extended Learning Opportunities

    Westlawn Middle School extends learning for each and every student every day. The WMS Falcons After School Learning Academy is offered to all students at no cost to parents. Students are engaged in enrichment activities, such as coding, fine arts and science activities. Each student receives additional time learning with certified teachers and community partners outside the school day.

    Westlawn Middle School is transforming learning for each and every child through hands-on activities, centers and small group instruction. Each teacher is dedicated to implementing practices that are usually not typical for middle school educators, but because we believe middle school students learn by doing, we model these practices daily. We are committed to teaching with high expectations.
