Welcome to the Tuscaloosa Magnet Schools – Middle!

I'm so excited and honored to be starting my 16th year in education by returning to Tuscaloosa Magnet Schools - Middle to serve as your principal. I was here when Magnet opened it's doors in August of 2009 and continued to serve for 8 years as the middle school counselor.

The mission of Tuscaloosa Magnet Schools-Middle is to motivate students to discover knowledge, create a better world, and serve in a way that respects others. We offer a project-based curriculum that leads students to think independently and to use their critical and creative thinking skills. Students research topics, study issues and solve problems that deal with the world around them.
