  • scholastic book fair

    Scholastic Book Fair:

    The Spring Scholastic Book Fair runs March 29-April 5 at NMS.  Volunteers are needed to assist classes with book browsing and checking out through the register.  There is also an Overdrive Digital Bookmobile event going on April 1-2.  

    Please remember to allow time to sign in at the office and have photo ID with you.  Volunteers are encouraged to bring something to read during slow times.

  • NJHS Tornado Relief: Honor Society will be collecting money for tornado relief during morning carpool Wednesday.

  • reading challenge

    Spring Break Reading Challenge:

    Read over the break and take advantage of the thousands of books available through our library, Sora, and myON!  The TCS Spring Break Reading Challenge runs March 8-29.  Students must return completed paper reading logs to Mrs. Hickman to enter, or may use electronic logs found at www.tuscaloosacityschools.com/libraries School and individual prizes will be awarded.

  • NHS Boys Basketball Tryouts:

    Sunday 4/7 - (All In-Season Sport Athletes)

    Monday 4/8 - Thursday 4/11 (Everyone that can attend.)

    NHS Girls Basketball Tryouts:

    Sunday 4/28 - (All In-Season Sport Athletes)

    Monday 4/22 - Thursday 4/25 (Everyone that can attend.)

    *All athletes must have a valid physical and a completed athletic packet to attend.

  • JA in a Day: Volunteers are needed to help with our JA in a Day Program on May 1st.  Parents who are able to help should email counselor Mary Thompson and I she will send more details.
