Dear Northridge Community Family,
I want to thank Dr. Daria, Dr. Cameron, the interview panel and the Tuscaloosa City School Board for the opportunity to serve as principal at Northridge High School. I began my tenure as a Northridge Jaguar on June 3rd.
The safety and security of students has always, and will continue, to be my highest priority as the building principal. Every child as a right to focus on an excellent education along with the ability to formulate positive relationships each and every day. I promise you that our faculty and staff will provide consistent supervision to ensure the best and safest environment for all students.
I also promise that our students will be provided with a rigorous curriculum with talented instruction. This curriculum will provide them with opportunities to strengthen their soft skills, experience authentic literacy in all classrooms and experience the freedom to be involved in extra-curricular activities that will satisfy their passions for life. We will stress the Triple “A” Excellence in academics, athletics and the arts at Northridge High School! It is time to get to work to improve an already superior high school. A high school that is currently ranked as the 18th Top High School in the state of Alabama by U.S. News & World Report. That is no small accomplishment.
It happens with parents, faculty, staff and the entire community family together to support helping the students develop their talents and skills.
I know that with everyone working together the students of Northridge High School will continue to excel and perform wonderful things to prepare for their future. I am honored and excited to join the family of Northridge High!
