Parent Visitation Day

Parent Visitation Day Each year, the Alabama Department of Education designates October is Parent Visitation Month. The theme this year is "Home and School Partnerships: Empowering Students to Learn". The Tuscaloosa City Schools celebrate Parent Visitation Day to encourage parents to visit schools to support their children and build those vital relationships with teachers. It is a critical factor in determining the success of our students.

Each year TCS schools plan exciting and educational events and activities to engage our parents and show them what our schools are offering students. Some of our activities this fall include an art showcase, Hispanic Heritage Showcase, hands-on visual arts activities, STEM activities, music demonstrations and more.
