Injured Chromebook?

If you have a broken Chromebook we ask that you please return this to Northridge High School (NHS). We have two Chromebook cabinets set up in our main lobby of the school. The first cabinet is for any Chromebook that is broken. The second cabinet is for students to return Chromebook back to NHS if you are leaving the school as a student.

Extra-Curricular Athletics

The Board of Education was informed by our superintendent, Dr. Daria, at last night's board meeting that we will follow the lead of the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) relative to extra-curricular athletics.

Our fall sport teams are currently in workouts keeping the practices of COVID-19 protection at the forefront of their workouts. The AHSAA have a press conference planned for 1 pm tomorrow, July 23rd. We expect further updates from them at that time.

Parents & Students, Ready For Google Meet w/Dr. Evans?

Dr. Evans is working on a process to begin having Google meetings with rising 9th grade parents and students. He desires to begin the process of welcoming you to Northridge High School.

He is not the best in the world at technology, but never doubt an old, chunky man's persistence in making it work for you.

He is currently working on a YouTube video to get out to our Northridge High School community. More to come...

The Leadership Team's Charge

Dr. Evans sent an email to the Northridge High School's Leadership Team this morning. He gave the Leadership Team (LT) four charges moving forward. They were;

1.) Please send the entire group any questions/concerns/ideas that you desire to have answered for that is where we shall begin our journey,

2.) Keep your department informed of all aspect of our LT vision and processes through this virtual platform plan. We want all teachers involved in our process.

3.) We learned that the school system will use "Schoology" as our virtual platform beginning August 20th. Dr. Evans is already working to become a pro on this platform. It is imperative that this nine weeks of virtual school will be viable, rigours and helpful to raise student achievement. Please visit this web site to learn more on Schoology. https://www.schoology.com/

4.) Return all of your questions/concerns/ideas out to everyone by Friday afternoon and be ready to meet via Google Meet at 2 pm.
