October is Principal Appreciation Month

National Principals’ Month

Principal Edwards

After serving PWBHS as an assistant principal for 8 years, Mrs. Lydia Edwards is now leading us as principal of Paul W. Bryant High School.  Throughout this #StampedeTRANSFORMATION, Principal Edwards strives to ensure that the students, teachers and staff have adequate resources with an environment focused on learning, love, and safety as being her top priorities. According to Principal Edwards, "My leadership style is transformational.  I'm a servant-leader and I truly believe our transformation will change the impact we have on students by changing the culture."

That’s why we join with the National Association of Secondary School Principals, the National Association of Elementary School Principals, and the American Federation of School Administrators this October as we honor the hard work and dedication of Principal Elam as part of National Principals Month.

National Principals Month is your opportunity to say “thank you” to principals everywhere and to share with the community all the great things that principals do. Click to send a thank you to your child’s principal or use the hashtag #ThankAPrincipal on Facebook or Twitter.
