TCS to Host Meeting on New Northern Middle School

New Northern Middle School TUSCALOOSA, Alabama -- The Tuscaloosa City Board of Education has now adopted a five-year strategic plan. Superintendent Mike Daria is beginning the process of informing stakeholders about its implementation.

The Tuscaloosa City Schools will host its first in a series of community meetings Tuesday, October 25 to discuss facilities upgrades identified in the plan. This meeting will be held in the Northridge High School auditorium at 5:30 p.m. It is scheduled for one hour due to additional events being hosted by local schools on this evening.

NHS is located at 2901 Northridge Road. Community members will learn more about the new northern middle school, see the floorplan and view the site layout at the meeting. Architects will also be on hand to answer questions.

The new north middle school is being designed to hold 900 students. It is slated to open fall 2018.
