Red Ribbon Week October 25-29

We will be observing Red Ribbon Week at WMS Oct. 25-29. The Red Ribbon campaign is the nation's oldest drug prevention awareness program and it began to honor the late Drug Enforcement Administration Special Agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena, who in 1985 was brutally murdered by drug traffickers he was investigating in Mexico. To honor Kiki, colleagues started wearing red ribbons. This small movement spread to include school and community programs all over the nation. Please join us in observing Red Ribbon Week at WMS by participating in our dress up days.

To learn more about Red Ribbon Week you may visit the Red Ribbon Campaign official website.
