TCTA Carpentry Students Partner with Habitat for Humanity

Tuscaloosa Career & Technology Academy (TCTA) students in the carpentry program collaborated with Habitat for Humanity to build a new home. Four carpentry students were able to contribute in the construction of the walls for the future home.  This is one of many opportunities that is given to carpentry students to apply skills learned from the classroom and the shop to the real world. TCTA strives to empower all students so they are college and career ready.
